Mural Artist in Perth
Hello there, I'm Aisha, also known as Aisha's Art. Art has been my passion for as long as I can remember, but it wasn't until 2022 that I took the leap to become a full-time artist. I began my journey painting on canvas with acrylics, which remains my favourite medium to this day. Over time, I found myself drawn to the grandeur of large-scale murals, captivated by the impact they can have. These murals have become a focal point of my work, earning them the title of my favourites.
While I'm originally from Darwin, NT, I am now based in Western Australia, particularly in Perth and the remote town of Broome. The vibrant landscapes and diverse cultures of these places inspire much of my artistry.
My style can be described as fun and vibrant, with a consistent emphasis on bright colour palettes. It's what sets my work apart and infuses it with energy.
Those who've worked with me before know me as an efficient and professional artist. I take great pride in bringing both my vision and that of my clients to life with the utmost dedication and skill.
I'm excited about the possibility of collaborating with you and bringing something special to fruition.
Favourite mural project types to work on
I thrive on challenges, which is why I'm always eager to push beyond my comfort zone and explore new and innovative mural designs. While based in Western Australia, I've been fortunate to be commissioned for numerous murals featuring native flora and fauna, a theme I've grown to deeply appreciate. Delving into the local environment, culture, and heritage of a location fuels my creative process, allowing me to craft mural designs that truly capture the essence of the area.
Mural projects
I've had the opportunity to work on a diverse array of murals, ranging from private residential projects to those commissioned by councils, both large and small in scale. Among the councils I've collaborated with are the Shire of Broome, the Shire of Bayswater and the Shire of Harvey. Distance is no obstacle for me, as I'm more than willing to travel to bring art to communities far and wide.
Given the nature of large-scale murals, which often require the use of boom lifts, I've taken the necessary steps to ensure safety is paramount. I've obtained all the required insurances and tickets to operate elevated machinery proficiently, prioritising not only my own safety but also that of the public. My commitment to safety ensures that every project I undertake is executed with precision and care.
