Melbourne Mural Artist
I am a mural artist and signwriter originally from New York, who moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2019 and never looked back. I got my professional start 20 years ago when I landed an almost year-long internship painting every surface of a high-end mansion for a NYC-based decorative arts company. From there, I started my own small mural company with a co-worker, and we travelled throughout the U.S. and internationally painting large scale murals and finishes for theme parks such as Universal Studios.
Along the way I also gained comprehensive experiences doing upscale commercial retail painting fit-outs, scenic painting for Off-Broadway theatre sets, holiday window displays, handpainted signage for big-box supermarkets, and more - on both the painting and management sides. I spent the majority of my 20's living for 2 weeks to 2 months at a time in various hotels around the country/world, so learned to be adaptable and unintimidated by new challenges. I also learned how to spot potential issues before they arise, which is why my mural practice is largely proactive instead of reactive, with planning and approval procedures in place prior to painting commencement.

I am highly organised and plan projects in advance, so clients who require attention to detail at a high standard will respond well to my work style. Realism and portraiture are my forte but I enjoy replicating any painting style, as long as the final design is approved by the client before painting commencement. Large scale projects are my favourite because my experience and organisational skills allow them to go smoothly, with an unparalleled sense of achievement from all parties at the completion of the project.
