My mural career began with a background in graffiti from a young age always having in interest in characters and backgrounds. When I was 19 I went to go live in Argentina and began working as an apprentice for a mural painter around Buenos Aires and this was my introduction to figurative painting, I proceeded to paint murals on my travels across Latin America over a few years and when I returned to Australia I enrolled in the national art school majoring in oil painting and reinvigorating my childhood interest in classical painting introduced to me from my Nonno’s art history books. Since graduating in 2022 I have proceeded to further explore working with my mural painting/street art.
Favourite Mural Projects
My favourite projects are those that tell stories. I love engaging with local histories and approaching painting from a sociological perspective, painting portraits or scenes as well as I love still life and storytelling through objects, symbolism and allegory. I also enjoy doing nature painting as an integral part of the Australian landscape and identity.
Client Mural Projects
The Koori mail was one of my favourite projects to work on. I painted portraits of many of their volunteers who had given everything to the community and organisation after the Lismore floods.
