I’ve always been creative. Some of my first memories of drawing were when I was a kid, seated at the dining room table drawing Dragon Ball Z characters with my old man. I always knew from a young age that I wanted to pursue a career in art but it took me many years to really figure out what kind of medium I wanted to use or what my niche was. But then I figured, why not do whatever feels good to me in the moment? The sky is the limit when it comes to creativity. So I went from sketching then painting on canvases, and carving then repurchased my first iPad pro in 2019 and started doing digital art. Eventually, I grew the urge in wanting to create on a bigger scale and taught myself how to use spray cans. From there, I have been blessed with opportunities to paint murals in Darwin street art festivals and gain recognition from the community, local businesses and NT news. I will be relocating to QLD in January 2025 and I look forward to what QLD has to offer and all the new experiences and people I am going to meet along my new journey.
Favourite Mural Projects
I have always been intrigued with street art, murals, graffiti and how someone can project their vision on a large scale. I also love anime, and I have a core memory of watching cartoons and anime with my siblings as a child. I like to incorporate both of these things into my murals. I never limit myself to creativity, I will always try and give my best to something I have never done before. I like to communicate with my clients to ensure I am bringing their vision to life.
Client Mural Projects
Darwin Street Art Festival 2024 (temporary mural at Bass in the grass fest)-
THEME: METAMORPHOSIS
This was my first time participating in a major art event and I had the best time! I met some of the most beautiful and talented people. This project was run by Proper Creative, these guys are some of the best people I have ever met. Artists from all over the world came to Darwin to participate in this event including some artists I have looked up to over the past few years and to be a part of the same event with them is still insane to me!
Palmerston Street Art Festival 2024-
Another event run by Proper Creative. I had full control on what I wanted to design. While other artists were painting plants and animals, I decided to go against the grain and do an anime-themed wall. Including mine and my sibling's favourite anime characters. Without realising it, this was something I had manifested for so many years. Also without realising it, this mural is located in a carpark right outside of a children's occupational therapist clinic. The smiles on the kid's faces, when they enter the carpark, is a feeling I will cherish forever.
